Every summer, my cottage friends and I plan a canoe trip somewhere in the Northern Ontario wilderness, just 3 women and 5 children.  This year, we paddled from Wolseley Bay and camped along the French River for 5 nights.  We are always amazed with how well our children interact with each other and how unusually helpful they become.   In the future years, we hope to plan more difficult trips and maybe some day venture into the far north of Canada.  There is nothing like being outside for days on end with nature all around.  Simply divine!
