How do we book you for a Wedding or Event?

What is involved in editing and minimal retouching?
The post-production of your photographs is a long process of selecting the best images during the editing step and then minimally retouching the photographs by running them through various presets. The first steps are outsourced to an editing company based in Georgia, USA. The Presets include individually adjusting the photographs through colour correction, density, dodging&burning, vignetting, placing metadata on the files etc.  The final step involves selecting the top images and spending time placing my “Signature” actions in Photoshop.  Each hour of shooting requires 2-3 hours of computer work… that’s 24 hours of computer editing for a typical wedding!  Click here to see an example Before & After photograph.

How many finished photographs do you provide?
There is an unlimited amount of photographs taken during an event.
You should expect anywhere from 200-300 finished photographs for a small 3 hour event and anywhere from 500-600 or more finished photographs for an 8 hour Wedding. That’s a lot of photographs!

Do you hire a second photographer?
A second photographer is available within all the wedding packages and are available for events too. We can talk about the benefits of hiring a second photographer during your consultation.

Do you photograph outside of the GTA?
Yes, we do photograph outside the GTA. An out-of-town fee will be discussed during the consultation.

What is the difference between a Web CD and a Printable DVD?
A Web CD has photographs with small file sizes, which are excellent for email and web-use (no clogging up those email boxes!). A Printable DVD with copyright gives you the opportunity to print your own enlargements up to 20×24 and even as large as a billboard, if you have the correct software.  Click here for more info.

Are the Digital Files available for purchase?
Yes, Printable DVDs may be purchased. They are also included in the price of any 10×13 Georgia Book or 11×11 L’Avenir PhotoBook.

How long are the turnaround times?
Below are the estimated turnaround times for different services.
A rush service is available if needed.

Enlargements: 1 week
The Georgia Book: 3-4 weeks (from proof approval)
L‘Avenir PhotoBooks: 6-8 weeks (from proof approval)

Portrait Proofs: 2 weeks
Event Proofs: 3 weeks
Wedding Proofs: 3-4 weeks
